Looping Through

You're trapped in a time loop, where you must defeat the ghost of your previous races to become escape and become the very best racer across all realities. 🚗

(Made for the GMTK 2025 game jam)

The theme of this game jam was "Loop", so I quickly came up with this idea and was motived to pursue it, since I've never done a racing game before. I think it came out quite good (especially considering the time constraint and that my friend told at last minute that he wouldn't be able to collab with me, as we agreed weeks beforehand). I would say that my biggest influence in the process was Rock N' Roll Racing, although I wasn't able to add attacks and jumps, as I would have hoped for. In addition, I didn't have time to add sound nor major visual effects. The AI is also a bit iffy, but it's at least fun imo.

You can just go and play on the browser (but make sure that you got your hardware acceleration enabled or it will be awfully laggy). For windows users, I also added a downloadable version.

I'll do a devlog (in spanish) of my whole experience.
